Leicester City have reached an agreement with Crystal Palace to sign striker Jordan Ayew for £8 million.
He is scheduled for a medical, and if everything proceeds smoothly, he will become the newly-promoted club’s seventh summer signing.
At 32, Jordan Ayew was about to enter the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace. Now, he’ll bring valuable experience to Leicester’s attack as they aim to stay in the Premier League after their promotion.
Last season, Ayew had a decent performance for Palace, scoring 4 goals and providing 7 assists in 35 games.
Jordan Ayew first joined Crystal Palace on loan from Swansea City in the summer of 2018 and made the transfer permanent the next year. During his time with the club, he scored 23 goals in 211 appearances. Before Palace, Ayew started his career at Marseille, then scored 13 goals for Lorient in the 2014-15 season before moving to Aston Villa
