Where is FIFA World Cup 2026?
The 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be held in North America. In a historic move, the tournament will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada.

FIFA World Cup 2026 host cities:
There are 16 cities that will host the 2026 World Cup which were announced by FIFA on 16th June 2022 . With 11 venues in the United States, 3 in Mexico, and 2 in Canada, the host locations will be divided across the three nations.
USA: New York City, Dallas, Kansas City, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, Boston, Miami.
Mexico: Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara.
Canada: Vancouver, Toronto
How many nations will participate in the FIFA World Cup 2026?
The qualification process for the FIFA World Cup 2026 has been determined, ensuring fair representation from each continent. The allocation of spots is as follows:
UEFA (Europe): 16 direct spots.
Concacaf(North and Central America, plus the Caribbean): Six direct spots and two inter-confederation play-off places.
CONMEBOL (South America): Six direct spots and one inter-confederation play-off place.
CAF (Africa): Nine direct spots and one inter-confederation play-off place.
AFC (Asia): Eight direct spots and one inter-confederation play-off place.
OFC (Oceania): One direct spot and one inter-confederation play-off place.
Additionally, the three hosts: the United States, Canada and Mexico, will be granted automatic qualification for the event as they are the host of event. Thereby, they are going to pick up three Concacaf seats.
