Chelsea have agreed to bring in Leicester manager Enzo Maresca as their new head coach. The 44-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the club, with an option for an extra season.
Chelsea will pay Leicester a compensation fee as they part ways with Enzo Maresca after just one season. The Italian manager led Leicester to an immediate return to the Premier League as Championship winners, finishing with an impressive 97 points.
Before joining Leicester, Maresca was an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. Known for his attractive, possession-based style of play, Maresca led Leicester straight back into the Premier League after their relegation the previous season.
