Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has completed a transfer to Al Ittihad, a Saudi Arabian club, and has signed a three-year contract. The move was officially announced on Monday.
In Saudi’s Al Ittihad, Fabinho will be joining players such as Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema and former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.
During his time at Liverpool, Fabinho made a significant contribution to the team’s success, making 219 appearances since he joined in 2018 and scoring 11 goals. He played a crucial role in helping the club secure various major titles, such as the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.

Fabinho wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter:
“Today I leave my home. It’s been five years wearing this jersey and always with the greatest honour and happiness possible. I love this club. Thank you, Reds, for everything we’ve experienced together. You will never walk alone,”
He Added:
“Since day one at Liverpool, I’ve been embraced by everyone,”
“In these five years, I grew as a player, as a man, I made dreams come true… With that jersey, I won every title a player can dream of.”
