According to reports, Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez is interested in signing Manchester city star footballer Bernardo Silva if Ousmane Dembele departs this summer.
PSG is reportedly interested in signing Dembele and wants to activate his €50 million release clause before the end of the month.
Xavi has personally informed Silva about Barcelona’s efforts to secure his signature. Meanwhile, the playmaker seems keen on leaving Etihad.
Interestingly, Silva would be reunited with his former Manchester City teammate, Ilkay Gundogan, who had joined the club on a free transfer earlier in the summer.
Earlier, PSG showed interest in Silva, but negotiating with Manchester City was challenging. City rejected all offers, asking for €100 million. Due to the high price, PSG shifted focus to Dembele.
